The Sad News: Most of you have probably figured this out by now - but for those of you who haven't, KickStartTV is "off the air" for an undetermined amount of time. The truth is I footed the bill personally for this show for years, and later the Trashman even kicked in to help keep it on the air. Thousands upon thousands of dollars of personal money was spent, as well as hundreds of thousands of hours producing the show, being on the air, maintaining equipment, traveling the country, etc. It was a great experience and I wouldn't have traded it for anything: we met great people, saw and built some killer bikes...and most of all, we had fun doing what we do and being who we are. But the facts are in - advertisers simply won't give any money to a show like this. Period. It's not like we didn't try, we spoke to Custom Chrome, Baker Transmissions and even tried to work something out with The Horse BC and other publications. Nobody, except our loyal viewers wanted to have anything to do with us. Sounds crazy, but it's true. In the end - it was simply a money thing - I couldn't justify the expense so we shut it down. I know a lot of you loved KickStartTV, and we did too, but we could only lose money for so long, and that's that. The "Garage" portion of this site is actually hosted by Magnify, who now wants us to pay monthly for the priveledge of using their software - everybody has to get paid. right? So, I don't know how long that will stay up. Anyway, I may bring back ChoppersRule.com at some point - but for now, everything sits like it is while we try to recoup from these devistating economic times we live in. I'll leave the archives up and there's a bunch of stuff on YouTube if you kick around and look for it. Keep building and riding choppers - and know that those two guys who pull up next to you at the stoplight some day just might be Warren & Trash. rest of the 94% of computers in the world. We know this will insult your "creative, free spirit" but frankly,
we're bikers and don't give a hot rat's ass about your need to express your individuality by purchasing
"a computer" that isn't compatible with ANYTHING and then having the nerve to bitch about it.
In any event, this show probably won't appeal to you because it's about noisy, smelly, environmentally unsound
vehicles that leave a carbon footprint the size of Washington every time you fire them up.
